Between the Shadows (Lake Lanier Mysteries #3) by Casi McLean
Shadows is the third book in the Lake Lanier series. I have never read about time travel but this series has been very interesting. Kenzi and York go back to the 1800's to try to save a woman York feels like he has to save, but while there some things go right and some things go wrong. James is her brother and helps them save her, but he ends up getting injured and Kenzi has to save him. But can she leave York in 1865 to take James back to the future and how will Tess handle all this extra travel?
