Elaine Constantine and Lucian Morelli's families were enemies for longer then either have been alive. Now Lucian can't get Elaine out of his head. Elaine is afraid Lucian is digging his way into her heart. But they both know it's forbidden in their worlds and they will do anything to destroy the other, but will they destroy themselves in the process.
