This is my first time reading for this author. What an awesome experience. Sage went to Vegas to enjoy some relaxation before starting a new job. She did not want to make any bad decisions like she did last time, what happens in Vegas does not always stay in Vegas. But meeting Eli's eyes across the pool and she's not sure she can not keep looking into them.
Eli went to Vegas to enjoy some relaxation and time with a friend, he never thought he would find someone as beautiful as Sage. Now he wants to spend all his time with her, but she has had bad experiences in Vegas before and doesn't want to repeat so he respects her choice. Now months later when he walks in the room as her new Dr. neither of them can believe their eyes. They can't deny the feelings they still have and have to decide if they are going to see each other as more than patient and Dr.
