Secrets and Lies are never a good thing and Grant and Jessica prove that in this book. Mia does a great job of defining the relationship and bringing the people to life. Neither of them had a good childhood but didn't want to continue bringing that into their daily lives. After Jessica leaves him three years ago Grant hates her and everything she did to him. She is also the only thing he thinks about and than when she shows up at his place of work he can't believe his eyes. Now Jessica can't believe her eyes either, she just walked into a bar with a friend and never expected to see the man she walked out on all those years ago and she still can't get him out of her mind. Now she has to prove to him she is sorry and that their relationship is worth the time and effort for them both.
