Misadventures on the Night Shift by Lauren Rowe

Had the privilege of reading an ARC copy. This was my first Misadventure book and definitely look forward to reading many more. Abby works the night shift at the local hotel while going to college and trying to get her life on track. Lucas is her teenage crush, a famous musician who she had his posters all over her room, and she still crushes on him. She is totally blown away when he walks into her hotel one night after he blows up at a concert and needs to hide away for awhile from everyone.  She has to show him the rules and even though he is her crush, she has to keep her job and put this egotistical child in his place.
Lucas is blown away that a woman is telling him the rules and she is inforcing them, does she not know who he is? But he can't deny she is a gorgeous specimen, and her telling him what's what makes her even more attractive. He finds ways to make her come to his room so he can see her more. Spending time together only intensifies both of their attraction, but Lucas needs to finish his final recording for his record company and makes a deal with Abby to help him. But both of their feelings get in the way and their feelings grow stronger and stronger for each other.
Great story of no matter how much "life" gets in the way, there is still a way to find each other and make it work. Love "Rocks".
