Neither of them had a good childhood but didn't want to continue bringing that into their daily lives. After Jessica leaves him three years ago Grant hates her and everything she did to him. She is also the only thing he thinks about and than when she shows up at his place of work he can't believe his eyes. Now Jessica can't believe her eyes either, she just walked into a bar with a friend and never expected to see the man she walked out on all those years ago and she still can't get him out of her mind. Now she has to prove to him she is sorry and that their relationship is worth the time and effort for them both.

This is my first book by Betti and I loved it. It is a dark story, but you can't pull yourself out until it's done. Pandora is being thrown into a life she doesn't want and she hates it as much as she hates everyone in it. She is a first born and has to follow the rules. She's not so sure she can.
Dexter is her fiance' and she hates him the most. He is the meanest most degrading person she has ever met, but she is to marry him on her 18th birthday. Will her mind or her body last that long?

Darkness Undone (A Warlord of Empyrea Novel Book1) Georgia Lyn Hunter

I have not read many PNR stories. This one was very good. I do have some issues following all the names and meanings, but it's worth it. Reynner and Eve don't trust others and they definitely don't trust the feelings they have for each other. But the pull is to strong to ignore.
There are so many secrets they both have, but are they willing to share that information with each other. This story shows no matter where you come from you can find love, and when you do don't walk away from it.
