This is my first book by Maureen and I loved it. I look forward to reading more. Leighton has been protecting Adelaide for what seem like forever. Adelaide thought she had a "normal" life except for her overprotective father. She has always loved when Leighton was around. But learning more about him and how her life is nothing like she thought it was is a great read. This book had me captive and couldn't put it down.
