Sterling promised to tell Kennedy who she was, he did not disappoint. He showed her how people in her life played with her and she had no clue. Trying to stay safe and happy was the only thing Araneae cared about. She wanted to meet her mother and put an end to the things the people behind her secrets were doing to her and others.
Promises shows us we don't have a say in who we fall in love with. No matter how we are raised or the way we live, we are promised to the "one" and it is our job to find them and keep our promises!!
