I had the privilege of reading and ARC copy. Leaona makes the Highway 17 series better and better with every book. Reese is a lawyer and thought she was intelligent until she sees the most gorgeous man she's ever seen, with blue eyes that make her melt. Walker is also a lawyer and has not let himself be happy for years, he tries to ignore the red head he sees from across the room thinking she's to good for him and he won't ruin her life too. But both of their feelings are to strong and they can't ignore the pull they feel towards each other. 
Walker has done some stupid things in his life and takes it all to heart, but loosing his sister at the hands of a monster is the thing that haunts him the most. How can he get Reese out of his system so he doesn't hurt her? Well he can't. After many meetings and trying to ignore each other they both give into their feelings, but Reese's past keeps coming back to show her she doesn't deserve to be happy; or does she?
Collision is the best name for this story, they collide, crash, die a little on the inside; but both hope they can make it out on the other side. Together and happy. 
Thank you Leaona for letting me share in this wonderful series. I fell in love with Highway 17 from the 1st book and I continue to wait on pins and needles to be able to meet more of these wonderful people who are family by choice. Blood doesn't always make you family, but staying together and helping each other do!!!

I had the privilege of reading an ARC copy. Amy never fails to keep me hooked. Gage was asked by one of his good friends if his daughter could stay at his remote cabin for awhile. Amber was in the middle of a divorce and her ex was making life miserable for her and their son, they needed to get out of town for a while.
Gage had known Amber her entire life. He had ignored the attraction he felt for her, but having her in his house made things more difficult. Gage tries to ignore it, but Amber can't take it anymore, she has had strong feelings for Gage since she was 15 and she was going to follow through with them now.
But Amber's ex throws more wrenches into their lives and Amber goes into hiding for months. Gage can't find her, but when he finally does he is surprised to see she is pregnant.
They both realize they can't stay apart or keep their kids apart, they have become one happy and now growing family that has to stay together no matter the odds.

Bough the audio version of Hard Wood. Amazing second book, along with Joy Ride. Just because there are obstacles in your way, like your best friend, don't let the women of your dreams get away. This book is great at showing you how you can come out of any situation together if it's what you both want. 

Buck me daddy by Ruby Steele and Virginia Sexton

Had the privilege of reading and ARC copy. Great cowboy story. Teaching a man that work is not as important as family is. Sophia comes to the ranch to help her grandmother take care of Rhett's little girl. She never expects the gorgeous man who walks into the kitchen a couple days after she gets there. Both Sophia and Rhett feel the chemistry immediately, but he is to busy working to even spend time with his daughter. But as time goes along, they can't deny the pull and have to find a happy medium between her schooling and his meetings. But once love takes a hold of your heart, no one can deny it.
