Kader was hired to do a job. He doesn't think of himself as a person, he is a machine and he does the jobs he needs to do and that's that. But his next job involves Laurel and once he lays eyes on her he can't figure out how to do the job he was hired for the correct way. He can't deny the feelings he has when their eyes meet, he feels like he needs to protect her.
Laurel sees the most beautiful set of eyes across the room and cannot look away. She is a scientist and believes in tangible things only. But she can't stop the pull she feels when she looks into this mans eyes. Then she meets him and the more they talk the more she can't pull away.
